Töötuba 1 Orissaare

Töötuba 1 Orissaare

Aeg: 20. märts
Koht: Orissaare Gümnaasium, ruum 114
Osalejaid: 8

Tegevused:

Time: 20 March
Place: Orissaare High School
Participants: 8

Activities:
On the first time we looked at inspiring pictures and examples of recycling possibilities which keeping in mind we are about to practise. Then I acquanted our idea to bring together things we make in Orissaare and some kind of play that will be made in Pärnu-Jaagupi. We started with origami techniques, rolled roses out of tissues; folded hearts, cornflowers and little boats which when put many together could also be a flower. The purpose of folding them was to use them as rosettes when wrapping gifts into recycling and maybe visually not so catchy material such as old news paper. After that we made roses out of egg boxes and gift boxes out of toilet paper rolls.

Pärnu-Jaagupi #3

Aeg: 5.04.2013
Koht: Pärnu-Jaagupi Gümnaasium
Osalejad: kohal:1, puudub:5, liitus:1

Hea uudis! Meiega liitus veel üks tore noor! Seega, kaks lahkusid, ning üks tuli asemele, meid on kokku seega nüüd 6+1(mina). Kahel esimestest töötubadest puudujal lasen nö koduse ülesandena ideefaas läbida ning järgmisel korral läheme kõik koos edasi ning eesmärgiks on panna paika lavastuse teema/teemad.

ideefaas/ idea phase

seekord üksainuke! the one and only this time!

Time: 5.04.2013
Place: Pärnu-Jaagupi High School
Participants: here:1, absent:5, joined:1

Process: Short story this time. There was supposed to be 3 of us, including me, but since there was inly 2 of us then I couldn't follow my original plan. But we didn't go home of course- we worked on the idea phase, wrote down some thoughts about "The World and I".
Good news! We have a new participant! So, 2 left, 1 joined, that makes 6 of us +1 (myself). The 2 participants that haven't been in the 2 first workshops, will get an "assignment" to go through the idea phase on their so that next time we will all continue and the aim is to establish the theme/s of the final performance.

Pärnu-Jaagupi #2

Aeg: 2.04.2013
Koht: Pärnu-Jaagupi Gümnaasium
Osalejad: loobus:2; kohal:3; puudujaid:2

Time: 2.04.2013
Place: Pärnu-Jaagupi High School
Participants: quit:2; 3 here; 2 absent

Process: I started by asking written permissions from the participants, to record video and take photos in the workshops and share them in public media. We had some calm music in the background when we started with two simpe exercises- flower fingers and mood-o-meter. Flower fingers goes like this: the participants stand in a circle, facing each other and hold their hands „closed“, palms facing upward. Then participants open their hands in a row, finger by finger until we have a "flower" :) This stands for the participant being ready for the process and „here“. Hereupon every participant measured their mood on a scale from 1 to 10 and added one thing that was good in this day (and if one wanted, then also- what was not so good in this day). We continued with warm-up’s for the body with some simple relaxation exhercises. Then we sat down as a square (because with onyl 4 people the „good old“ circle transformed into a square) and played „you-me-s/he“- A points towards someone and says „you“ (B). B then points towards him/herself and says/asks etc „me“. Then the two people next to B point towards him/her and say „him/she“. We tried out different intonations, the exchercise created a good atmosphere and helped to get to know each other in a way, by creating eye contact. We continued with an excercise where everybody closed their eyes and started to count numbers in the group, but without agreeing on asking anything, just by following our noses (when two people said a number at the same moment, we started from the beginning). After being successful from 1 to 10 and back to 1, we counted them until we reached 40. In the second part of the workshop we continued to discuss dates and times for the workshops. I must say, I’m still not too good at time planning, so I talk to them about dates and times a lot. We understood that it’s better to discuss this online in our „virtual home“, where everybody can participate. Then we got to the point- I gave a brief overview about the previous workshop, where we got to the title of the performance, which has been my idea for quite a long time, but the participants all felt that this might work and it gets ideas flowing. The title is „ The World & I“. So we continued brainstorming on that one. I wrote it on the board and wrote down ideas, questions, opinions about this topic in general- what ideas do we have, what do we want to talk about. We created, in my opinion, a good base for eventual thoughts. I agreed with the two absent ones, that I will meet with them at the end of the week so that we could go through the things we did with today’s participants. I understood that even though it is a small group, I have to reckon with the fact that a part of the whole work will be done by having one half of the participants one day and the other part another day. And of course I have to take care that nobody misses out on anything. But it is a fact that I can not expect the participants to change their plans for the whole month, especially when it was voluntary to join the group in the first place. Anyway, when the idea phase eventuated, I explained the task which stayed unrealized this time, but next time when we meet with the whole group, everybody takes something with them (a movie, a song, an old toy, a poem etc), that helps them to talk about one of the questions or ideas that they got from the title „The World & I.“ Then came a point, where because of some unexpected changes I had to improvise a bit, because the participants really wanted to try some improv. So we did. We played some etudes like „the bus station“,“class“, „machine“ etc, which in my opinion created a bood base for further improv activities- they paid attention to one another, responded quickly and they liked what they were doing. We ended the workshop again with the mood-o-meter and flower finger. It was a pleasure to see that their moods were better than in the beginning and that they are waiting the next time with joy! Thanks, everybody! :)

Pärnu-Jaagupi #1

Aeg: 31.03.2013 kell 13:30-15:30
Koht: Pärnu-Jaagupi kogukonnamaja
http://kogukonnamaja.wordpress.com/
Osalejad: 5 kohal, 2 puudu

Minu lõputöö teema valiku ajendiks on 2011/2012 õppeaastal läbiviidud loovtegevuste juhendamise praktika MIMO projekti raames, mida viisin läbi multiprofessionaalse meeskonna liikmena Rapla noortegrupiga. Sellest tulenevalt rääkisin noortele, kuidas nägi välja töö multiprofessionaalses grupis, kuidas jõudsime noortega ideede ja tulemusteni. Rääkisime erinevatest kunstilise eneseväljenduse võimalustest, mida me tahame ja saame hakata tegema, kuidas me jõuame tulemini jne. Vaatasime ühiselt Rapla MIMO lavastuse salvestust. Soovisin sellega näidata, millest olen ise inspiratsiooni saanud ning ning näidata sealjuures võimalikke variante, kuidas saab erinevaid kunstilisi eneseväljendusvahendeid kasutada.

Time: 31.03.2013, 1:30PM-3:30PM
Place: Pärnu-Jaagupi community house
Participants: 5 here, 2 absent

Process: Since my university final paper project is a follow-up project for MIMO, then I started with introducing the MIMO project and its working methods which I plan to apply during my project (multi-professional teamwork and combining art-based methods). The motive of the there for the final paper project is our Creative Activities Supervision Practice which took place during 2011/2012 in Rapla, where I was a member of a multi-professional team. Hence, I talked with the participants about how did the work in a multi-professional team "looked like", how did we generate ideas and how did we reach the outcome as a performance as a mixture of different arts. We talked about different ways for self-expression, what we want to do, what we can do, how do we reach an outcome etc. Then we watched the movie about Rapla's performance which was "published" last year. With this my aim was to show, where did I get the inspiration for this certain project and to show some examples of different ways how to use arts as tools for self-expression.

Tere! Hello!

Tere! Meie oleme Karin ja Liis. Õpime TÜ Viljandi Kultuuriakadeemias huvijuht-loovtegevuse õpetaja erialal. Kuna oleme jõudnud neljanda õppeaastani, siis on tarvis kooli lõpetamiseks sooritada lõputöö. Meie ühine loov-praktilise lõputöö juured said alguse MIMO projektist, mille raames viisime läbi enda loovtegevuste juhendamise praktika 2011/2012 õppeaastal.

MIMO (Moving In! Moving On! Application of Art-Based Methods to Social and Youth Work) on 3-aastane Soome-Eesti koostööprojekt, kus toimuvad mitmed töötoad ja üritused 13-17-aastastele noortele. Eestis toimuvaid etenduskunstide töötubasid viivad läbi TÜ Viljandi Kultuuriakadeemia etenduskunstide ja kultuurhariduse osakonna tudengid, muusika õpitubasid korraldab Von Krahli Teater. Muusikaõpitoad toimuvad Tallinnas, Von Krahli Teatri baaris. Etenduskunstide töötoad toimuvad koolides ja/või noortekeskustes üle Eesti – Keilas, Vändras, Ardus, Türil, Paides, Raplas, Tarvastus, Puhjas, Lihulas ja Kilingi-Nõmmes (www.mimo.ee)

Karin veab Orissaares taaskasutuse teemalisi  töötube, mille väljundiks on peale omaette näituse ka Liisi lavastuse lavakujunduslikud elemendid. Liis loob Pärnu-Jaagupis noortegrupiga lavastuse, rakendades MIMO projekti töömeetodeid (multiprofessionaalne koostöö ja kunstimeetodite integreerimine). Ühine esinemine leiab aset Orissaares, Pärnu-Jaagupis ning Viljandis.

Selles blogis saavad huvilised ja asjaosalised end kõige toimuvaga kursis hoida, ammutada ideid ning avaldada arvamust.

Hey there! We are Karin and Liis. We study at Tartu University Viljandi Culture Academy on the speciality of leisure time manager-teacher. Since we have reached the 4th year of university, then it is time for our Final Paper project. Our common Final Paper project's roots are in MIMO project, during what we carried out our Creative Activities Supervision Practice in Rapla in 2011/2012.

MIMO is a three-year research and development project with EU funding from the Central Baltic –program (Central Baltic INTERREG IV A 2007–2013). The project develops multi-professional team work models and art based methods for the use of social and youth work by carrying out various workshops for the target group of 13 – 17 year olds. The project gives special emphasis to activities targeted to youth at risk of alienation from society. (www.mimo.ee/en)

In MIMO professionals and students of performing arts (dance and theatre), communication, media education, wellbeing, health and youth work produce various workshops and events for youngsters. The project will also produce an education package that supports multi-professional team working for BA degree students and further education. The results of MIMO will be disseminated through several seminars and publications.

Karin leads workshops about recycling in Orissaare, which’s outcome in addition to their own exhibition, is the stage decoration and design in Liis’s performance. Liis’s workshops will come out with a performance where MIMO’s working methods are applied (multi-professional teamwork and art-based methods in youth work). The final show will take place in Orissaare, Pärnu-Jaagupi and in Viljandi.

This blog is for everybody who’s interested and involved and want to stay updated and gather some ideas, as well as give pieces of advice.
